The play explores the profound connection between two damaged souls, Danny and Roberta, as they negotiate their struggles and seek redemption through their chance encounter.
Steve Love and Joey McDougall star in this dark and engaging drama about the long-lasting effects of trauma and the importance of human connection.
This in-person performance will take place at LIVE! On Elgin, located at 220 Elgin Street, Ottawa.
This play opens on Wedneday January 17, 2024 and will run until Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Joey McDougall:
Upon graduating from Bishop’s University with a degree in theatre, Joey moved to Vancouver, joining the High Horse Theatre Company, an indie company known for producing new Canadian works. Since moving back to Ottawa, Joey has worked in the Ottawa theatre scene and as a federal public servant. Recent acting credits include the role of Eve in Burn at the Academy Theatre for the EODL Theatre Festival where she was awarded Best Actor. Joey also performed Burn at The Ottawa Little Theatre and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022 where the show won the prestigious Carol Tamor award. Other acting credits include Benita in Love and Human Remains (The Gladstone), Laurel in Torch Song Trilogy (TotoToo) Sylvie in Move Over Mrs. Markham (Ottawa Little Theatre) and Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life (Ottawa Little Theatre).
Steve Love:
In his early twenties, Steve Love dropped out of school to pursue a career in entertainment. Surprisingly, the move paid off. He has appeared in HBO’s Game Of Thrones, as well as films like Christmas Jars and Pet Sematary: Bloodlines. His most recent theatre role was as George Bailey in Ottawa Little Theatre’s 2018 production of It’s A Wonderful Life.
