Franco-Manitoban artist Flora Luna invites you to an exceptional evening of musical gems (in French and English) from her debut EP. Accompanied by talented musicians, Flora Luna will take you on a captivating emotional journey, sharing poignant stories and haunting melodies.
Her EP "L'autre bord du mur" is an authentic, resonant work that reveals Flora Luna's deep sensitivity to the world around her. Ranging from jazz to folk and from pop to rock, she'll capture your heart from the very first notes, oscillating between gentle tones and passionate outbursts.
Flora Luna - whose real name is Geneviève Freynet - has been making a name for herself on Canada's national scene since her project debuted in December 2021. Semi-finalist in the Grand Concours at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby and winner of Chant'Ouest in 2022, she has also performed at a number of festivals, including the Festival de la chanson de Tadoussac, the Coup de coeur francophone festival, opening for Vincent Vallières, the Festival du Voyageur and the TD International Winnipeg Jazz Festival, among others. Following her showcase at Contact Ouest 2023, she was awarded the Réseau des grands espaces/Festival Les oreilles en pointe (in France) prize, which will launch her international career in 2024.

Tristan Guay:
Originaire de Gatineau, Tristan Guay est un auteur-compositeur-interprète au français assumé. Naviguant entre folk-rock et pop, Tristan explore des sonorités surfs rafraîchissantes. En 2022, il est invité à assurer la première partie de plusieurs de ses idoles tels qu’Ariane Moffatt, ou encore les deux comparses de Karkwa, Julien Sagot et Louis-Jean Cormier, cumulant plusieurs spectacles entre son Outaouais natal et la ville de Québec. Lors de la dernière édition du Festival international de la chanson de Granby, il se taille une place en demi-finale du Grand Concours. Il participe ensuite à Ma première place des arts et se rend en final du Tremplin de Dégelis.
On le découvre plus amplement sur son tout premier EP « Dans une autre vie » où Tristan écrit le journal intime de la collision de deux vies parallèles, parfois contradictoires, mais qu’il cherche toujours à conjuguer. Avec les cinq chansons qui composent l’EP « Dans une autre vie », Tristan se réincarne de morceau en morceau, vit ses vies multiples rapiécées en une seule: la sienne.
