DIBB:
The Desert Island Big Band is the pseudonym of Stefan Jurewicz—musician, producer (Kick Me Records), and author (Lemon, Milk Crate Shorts) from Ottawa, Canada. Informed by artists like David Bowie, St. Vincent, Beck, and The Kills, the Desert Island Big Band uses music as a vehicle for exploration without sacrificing pop sensibility and with a heavy emphasis on storytelling. In 2026, DIBB is releasing their debut LP titled “Elaborate Dogs,” a dada-esque romp through the enigmatic “Fourth Leg,” the metaphysical, multi-dimensional dream world we all travel to when we sleep. Accompanied by his live band, The Mirage, DIBB’s live show incorporates hand puppets, a giant plaster mask, choreography, costume, and set design.

Unsociably High:
Unsociably High is a four-piece ensemble from Ottawa, Canada whose sounds of dream pop will take you from laying in the grass on a sunny day to sitting alone in a dark room contemplating life. Seasoned with sparkling vocals, funk progressions, and loop stations, Unsociably High presents a new wave of melodies that reduce the speed of heart beats.

Asher Darling & The Tactics:
Asher Darling is a songwriter and pianist based in Ottawa, Ontario. He began his musical venture studying classical piano before being drawn toward the rhythmic pull of R&B and synth-pop. This led him to divert his own songwriting towards groove-soaked piano rock. Inspired by prolific writers ranging from Billy Joel to Elvis Costello to Beethoven, Asher blends sentimental themes with a familiar, nostalgic sound. After years of performing with rock bands across Ottawa, he’s now honing his own artistic voice as he prepares his debut solo record. Stay tuned!
