Animal Boy:
Animal Boy is a genre-bending alternative rock band from Guelph, Ontario formed in 2019. With the lyricality and narrative of ballads and the style and tone of punk rock, Animal Boy offers a unique sound which defies strict categorization. Delivering high-energy, danceable instrumentation and memorable, honest lyrics, the band takes inspiration from artists like Carseat Headrest, Alvvays, and IDLES. Animal Boy has recently been featured at Riverfest Elora, and Canadian Music Week, and has opened for internationally touring bands, Born Ruffians and MONOWHALES. In January 2023, Animal Boy released their third full-length album, My Love is a Terror and is set to release an EP titled ‘CURSE’ in June 2024.

Those Who:
“Those Who” are an indie rock band known for creating music that evokes a range of emotions and introspection. Since their formation in November 2023, they’ve made a mark on the local scene, selling out their first shows and are currently working on their first EP. Their sound has already caught the ear of listeners on CKCU FM. “Those Who” aim to connect with their audience through music that’s both uplifting and thought-provoking, leaving fans feeling moved and inspired.

Apostle Bird:
Apostlebird is an emerging Ottawa shoegaze/experimental rock band that uses long chains of effect pedals to shape their sound. Their influences include My Bloody Valentine, Astrobrite, The Cure and Joy Division.
